Superleague Formula is a new motor racing formula, which will start its first race on August 30, 2008, at Donington Park. The league will introduce team sponsorship by major sports clubs, and will feature open-wheel racing around a mix of historic and challenging tracks. Known as "The Beautiful Race - Football at 300km/h" it will feature in its first season 17 cars with global football club liveries and recognised drivers at the wheel for a supposedly close, exciting mix of two sports.
